Cheap Fun on Spring Break

Spring Break is this week in our county and next week in the next county over! Families are scrambling for ways to entertain their kids over the break. Seven hours of school, five days, that's 35 extra hours of free time!

You don't have to worry about breaking the bank while trying to entertain your children. There are plenty of fun activities to partake in that don't cost much - some don't cost anything at all!

Sports
You can pick up a variety of balls for only a few bucks each at stores as small as the Dollar Store and as big as Wal-Mart. Many stores even have big kits with things like rugby sets, tennis, badminton, jump ropes and more. Not only will these entertain your children, they'll promote exercise so that they aren't coach potatoes for the whole week.

Board Games
There are so many board games available, all with different age ranges. Board games offer inexpensive fun (often, the younger the goal age, the cheaper). They are always changing, with new competition forming and new strategies to use. They can provide hours of family friendly, PG fun. Even better, many are equally enjoyable for the parents!

Cards
Cards are also very versatile. With a simple deck of cards, which you can pick up for a few bucks, you can teach your kids many games such as Go Fish!, Rummy, BS (just don't tell them what it stands for!) and even poker, if they're a little bit older. They also have themed cards available - One of my favorites is Skip-Bo, recommended for older kids such as teens.

A Dedicated Server Saved My Business

I talk about business often, partially because I used to run an online business. There are many mistakes to be made when running a business on your own... There are also preventative measures that you can take to prevent any big trouble from happening. For online businesses, one of these measures is to purchase a Dedicated Server from a proper company. My site crashed once, and my business along with it, at a terrible time. I had overloaded my site and overused my memory, which caused the crash. Without my dedicated server company, I would have missed out on a huge opportunity and surely many customers as well.

I'm not a genius when it comes to running websites so when my site crashed, I had no idea what to do. It was the middle of the night and I had just been sprucing the site up for a scheduled visit from possible business partners across the globe. Where they were, it was daytime! I knew that they were going to be looking over my site for possible funding and for my site to be down when they go to look at it, that would have killed my chances.

Luckily, my dedicated server company was so dependable. When I called at one in the morning, they worked with me to get my site back up and running in no time. It was truly amazing as I didn't even expect them to be available at that time of night. The man I talked to explained their was a problem with my site's memory limit and quickly helped me fix it. My site was ready and running when my business partners were viewing it.

My business partners were impressed with my site and opened up to further discussion of possible funding. Without my dedicated server company, I don't know what I would have done. I can be pretty sure that I would have lost that client, though, as my site being down was just unprofessional. It was my fault, for overusing my memory, but I was so lucky that my dedicated server provider helped me out. A crashed website is not good for business!

Our Road Trip with the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

A few years back my friends and I took a roadtrip from Kentucky to Florida. My best friend's parents had just picked her up a Mitsubishi Outlander from outlander sport south holland il for her birthday. She was so excited to put it in use! We took a trip for Spring Break down to Daytona Beach, Florida. It was a two-day drive getting down there, but her Mitsubishi made the grueling ride much better. It was spacious, comfortable and it had an outstanding GPS. We got to our destination (and back) with no problems!

My pal's Mitsubishi Outlander was incredibly spacious. I'm sure we could have fit seven people in there, no problem. There were only five of us though, three girls and two guys. However, each girl brought at least two big bags and the boys had a bag each. Add in all of our roadtrip snacks and games we brought along and it should have been packed. The Mitsubishi was so spacious that we weren't even squished! We were able to stretch out and enjoy the ride. In my cramped little car, it would have been a miserable trip!

The Outlander had great comfort features as well. The seats were heated which was great since it was still pretty chilly when we left Kentucky. The seats were also spacious which allowed us to stretch out and nap if we wanted to (which I did!). The sound system was amazing and we were able to jam out on the way, just like we were in our own homes. It was so much fun.

Something we were grateful for along the way was the GPS system. We didn't think that we'd need it since we printed out directions before starting our trip, but we got lost half way there! One wrong turn and suddenly, you're not even close to your destination! When we got lost, we just kicked on the GPS and it took us straight to Daytona. We really didn't even need the directions we had originally printed out!

Roadtrips can be crazy. They usually involve being stuffed in a cramped car with people whining about being stuffed in a cramped car. In my friend's Mitsubishi Outlander, it was nothing like that! Her car was spacious, comfortable and had a GPS system inside. Our two-day trip to Florida was comfortable and fun! The key to an enjoyable road trip is the car you drive in.

Chevy Trucks Get the Job Done

I live in a small town. Most people around here are hard workers, doing the tough jobs that require tough tools. My step dad is just one example, he owns his own construction company. This involves a lot of driving and hauling materials. His number one tool is his Chevy truck. It's perfect for his job because it's spacious, it handles all terrains and it gets good mileage. Just click here to find a chevy truck model to fit your lifestyle.

My step dad's truck is spacious enough to haul the materials he needs for his jobs. The truck bed is deep which allows him to stack an extensive amount of wood and gutter material. The back seat is spacious enough to fit 3 people but he usually stacks all of his tools back there. His two other partners ride with him in the front seat and there's enough space for it to not feel weird! It's great because they're able to move all of their materials and people in one truck so they don't waste extra money on multiple trips.

The Chevy truck also does an amazing job of handling all kinds of terrains. Since we live so far out in the country, it's not uncommon for my step dad and his crew to travel through brush, fields or mountains to get to their next job. The Chevy handles these travels extremely graciously, keeping them and the materials safe, even on the toughest terrains.

Surprisingly, my step dad's Chevy also gets outstanding mileage. It's a well-known fact that trucks use more gas than standard cars but as far as trucks go, my step dad's uses very little gas. This is such a big help for them because that's money that they're saving on gas. They obviously can't haul their materials in a little car, so it's lucky that they got a truck with such good mileage so that they can save a little money on transportation.

Around here, people take pride in their trucks. They do a lot more than get from A to B. They're an integral part of their lives and jobs. My step dad loves his truck as much as the next guy. Without it, he wouldn't be able to do his job. His truck is spacious enough for him to transport building material, it handles any terrain he drives it through and it gets great mileage for a truck. He wouldn't trade his Chevy for any other vehicle.
