My dad and I have talked about investing in a truck so I'm always looking for used semi trucks for sale! A semi truck would be great for our family for several reasons but most importantly, it would give us tons of extra opportunities to earn money. By investing in a used one, we'll save a little money as well.

Pick up expensive items for free!
People all over our county post ads on the internet for stuff they'd like to give away. I've seen ads for several organs, great furniture and even a couple of hot tubs and pool tables! With a semi, we'd be able to get wonderful items for the home for absolutely free and eventually, we'd be able to sell off some of the quality items like instruments and furniture! It is possible to make a huge profit off of these as you don't have to pay for the items at all!
People in every city are looking to give away their stuff so regardless of where you live, you'll be able to participate in this great money making opportunity - if you have a semi truck, of course!
Buy big items and resell them
If you have a lot of local thrift stores or secondhand furniture stores like we do, you may be able to become a buyer for them! If you're free on the weekends, you can visit garage sales around your neighborhood. People want to get rid of their stuff when they have a garage sale so it's not uncommon to find big ticket items for way less than they're worth! You can load up on cheap furniture and then cut a deal with the thrift store. Without a truck, you're going to miss out on opportunities like this!
Be a Part Time "Mover".
Another great way to make money when you have a semi truck is to help families in your town move things! If a friend needs something moved or picked up, you can make a quick buck just by helping them out. You can also help neighbors move out of town - You can fit all of their belongings in your semi and make some extra money while helping out your neighbors.
