I love getting great stuff for cheap and I'm always looking for new ways to do so! I've become a big fan of penny auctions and I've seen a ton of amazing items (including gift cards and electronics) go for unbelievably cheap prices on penny auction sites! Once you get the hang of online auctions, you can be one of those people that snatches up $20 gift cards for less than a dollar... and no, I'm not exaggerating, they really go for that cheap! When you participate in penny auctions, the possibilities are endless. I'm sure you're wondering how exactly a penny auction works and how you can get started. Luckily, I'm an expert!
What is a penny auction?
To participate in a penny auction, you first purchase bids, which on SixJax.com are only $.50 a piece! Next, you find an auction that you're interested in. Now, there are a couple of different types of auctions. Some of them you end up paying a percent of the item's standard auction price while others are just like games with special moves and modifiers! Of course, you can always just stick to standard auctions where the last bidder gets the item.
So, let's say you find a standard auction you'd really like to win. You bid on it 3 times and it ends up going for $4. Lucky you, you were the last bidder! Just add the winning price to the price of the bids ($1.50) and you've only paid $6.50 for the item! If that's a $50 Gift Card or a camera, well, that's an amazing deal.
What can I get from a penny auction?
The amount of things you can find on online auction sites is crazy and penny auctions are no different! You can find anything from iPods to gift cards to cameras and more. I recently saw a $50 Walmart gift card go for only $.10!
If you're looking for a new way to get great stuff for cheap, you have to try online auction sites. Buy some bids, find some items you'd like and start bidding! You may just hit the jackpot.
I am participating in a blogger campaign by Bucks2Blog.com about auction sites and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own.
