How a Shave Set Can Help a Man in Your Life!

Novice shavers may experience a lot of embarrassing screw-ups with shaving. Razor bumps and cuts from shaving are like a man's version of women's makeup malfunctions! Even older shavers may experience these issues if they're not following a proper saving routine, which is much more than just the cream and the razor. A shave set is a thoughtful gift for any new or seasoned shavers that could use a better shaving routine. Shaving set provide all of the products needed for proper shaving such as pre-shave (like soap or a shaving brush), a quality razor and aftershave, such as moisturizer. These are all important products for a proper shaving routine.

One of the most forgotten parts of a good shaving routine is the pre-shave preparation. This is done with a soap, which is used to open the pores. It can also be done with a shaving brush, which is swept across the beard in circular motions to loosen up the hair and the pores. Either of these are proper to prepare the skin for shaving and both of them together are especially helpful. They can prevent painful tugging as the hair and skin will be prepared to be shaved.

A cheap razor can do a number on your having routine. Dull razors make cuts more likely. They also promote razor burn, which is not a good look! There are two main types of razors, safety and straight, both of which come in shaving kits. Straight razors generally offer a closer shave, but take time to get used to, while safety razors are quite easy to use, but might not be the best quality. The type of razor is up to the shaver and their personal preference... The most important thing is that the blades must be sharp to prevent cuts and razor burn.

Facial skin is much more sensitive than the skin on arms or legs. When you run a razor across it, no matter how sharp or high-quality, it's not the ideal situation for your skin. Shaving often causes irritation to the skin and the hair follicles. Irritation of the skin, when left to fester, often breeds razor burn and possible dry skin. A great way to combat this is moisturizer after shaving. Many shaving kits come with moisturizer, or similar aftershave products, which help the skin recover from irritation caused by shaving.

Proper shaving techniques are not something men are born with. They have to be taught! Often, they're handed a razor and some shaving cream and sent to town. There is much more to shaving than cream and a razor! Shaving kits provide men with the needed materials to actually form a proper routine including pre-shave, shaving, and aftershave tools. Help a man in your life combat razor bumps and cuts by providing him with everything he needs for a proper shaving routine!
