At this time of year, we're all throwing money and gifts around to our loved ones but often we forget about those who aren't as fortunate. I was actually talking to my sister about a way to help out during the holiday season and we realized what holds us and many others back is not knowing who or how to help.
Recently, I found out about www.vetsvehicles.org. It's the website for an outstanding organization that works to do one thing - Help veterans by taking car donations! That is their sole purpose and they aren't picky. They'll take any car in any condition, no matter who you are and where you live. They make it easy to donate a car so that you can help out this holiday season.
I think it's such a great opportunity for us to help veterans. They are the backbone of our country. They risk their lives for the safety of all of us, even though they haven't met us before. Veterans offer their life for us and you can't put a price on that! We are all indebted to them for the amazing work they do and I personally love any chance I get to help one of them out.
You may be wondering "Why a car?" Vets Vehicles has made it their duty to take any cars they can and sell them to benefit the veterans. You may not be able to give a large sum but if you have an old car hanging out in the garage, you can quickly donate it to them and they will take care of the selling for you. They also offer transparency to all donors so that you may see where all of the money and donations go before donating, to ensure it goes to the right place! Some charities are not quite as upfront and may take way more money for themselves than you can imagine!
There's nothing wrong with enjoying gift giving with your family. It's a wonderful experience and a tradition for many. As fortunate as you are, please don't forget to help those in need who deserve it. The veterans of our country offer their service to every single one of us without asking for anything in return. Please, try to help out by providing a car to VetsVehicles.org. It will help veterans in need and you can rest easy knowing you did a good deed.
This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are my own.
