How to Stay Healthy and Comfortable at Work

My mom works at the reception desk in a warehouse. She's relatively healthy so when she started complaining about pain in her back and tailbone, I was kind of confused at first. When I visited her at work one day and had a seat in her chair, it hit me what was causing all of her pain. The chair was hard and uncomfortable and she was sitting in it for hours on end!

I decided to surprise her with a new chair, much like the Mirra Chair, for Christmas. I knew it was a bit of an odd gift but if it helped ease her pain, I figured she would love it! It was a pain to wrap and gift but when she got it, she was very excited. Just by looking at it, it was easy to tell it was of a high quality.

I picked the chair for several reasons. First off, it had a flexible back so that she could stretch out when she needed to, instead of being cramped up in one stiff position all of the time. It also had supportive padding for a soft, cushiony feeling on her aching bones. I was hoping it would improve her pain or maybe even eliminate it!

She took the chair in with her a few days after Christmas and seemed a little disappointed after the first day since she still had pain. I checked in on her a week later, hoping things had gotten better. She was ecstatic as she told me her pain had slowly eased away throughout the week and was now completely gone. She said it actually felt nice to sit down in her comfy chair while working!

My mom means a lot to me and I want her to be healthy. Her old office chair was just not good for her bones or posture. That's why I helped her upgrade to a flexible, comfortable chair that offered her comfort both in and out of the chair. It completely solved her back pain issues and will hopefully keep her spine healthy. If you or someone you know has a cheap, uncomfortable office chair, look into getting a new one for both health and comfort!

This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are my own.
