My Boyfriend's First Time Shaving

When I first met my boyfriend, he was not the most well groomed person I knew... Not even close. He didn't look like he had ever seen a razor in his life, with a beard cascading over his chest. I didn't care too much, though, because he had an amazing personality. When we started dating, I finally convinced him to do something with his long, scraggly beard. It was time to shave it off!

He confessed to me that he had never even considered shaving before. I was terribly surprised - A man who's never shaved before? It seemed so odd and as a female, I certainly wasn't an expert on men's shaving techniques. Since we were both a little confused about the whole process, I took to Google and researched techniques and tools. I didn't want to have an accident and end up somehow de-chinning him!

I ended up buying one of those nice shaving kits at a reasonable price. It came with all the materials he could ever want, including a razor, shaving brush, pre-shave oil (I didn't even know they made that at the time!), shaving cream and after-shave balm. The website even included some brief instructions on just how to use each product.

When the kit came in the mail, I gave it to him and after cutting off as much as he could with kitchen scissors, he utilized all of the materials that came in his kit. The pre-shave oil, shaving cream and brush helped loosen up his whiskers before shaving so that the razor could easily shave them off without with any tugging or pain. The after-shave balm moisturized his skin and kept his skin from reddening.

With his shaving kit, he actually enjoyed shaving, It was less of a boring task and more of a pampering way to groom. The kit was awesome, it reminded me of a manicure kit for women, except tailored to a man's shaving needs. It included everything a man could need for shaving and made him look pretty sharp! It made the whole process a lot easier as well, even he, someone who had never shaved before, got the hang of it rather quickly.

This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are my own.
