When traveling down a street, you're likely to see many signs. I see signs everywhere I go, particularly Signs For Real Estate. Because I see so many, I'm used to most of them but recently, I've been seeing some pretty funny and unique real estate signs that catch my eye!
The one I often remember and laugh about was a for sale sign in our neighborhood. It was posted at a lovely home that had been up for sale for some time and didn't seem to be getting much traffic. I imagine people just weren't noticing the house very well or perhaps they hadn't been drawn in by the house alone. The real estate agent was clearly a clever one as she posted a sign on the lawn that said "FOR SALE: BUYER GETS FREE PIZZA!" in big, bold, capital letters. I promise you, I'm not kidding!
It seems like a sort of silly thing to think about but you would not imagine how much traffic it brought to that home. Every time I passed, there were people in the house, outside of the house, taking pictures of/with the sign. The house got a lot of publicity and not too long after that sign was posted, the house was sold! I often wonder if the agent really bought the buyers pizza!
The point is that the right sign can do wonders for a company, business, or a house for sale. A standard old sign might not be the right thing to draw people in but with a little creativity, a sign can do a lot. Whether it's artistic and colorful, informative or downright hilarious, simply being a little unique can bring a lot of advertisement.
Signs are a great way to advertise as people are always walking, biking or driving by them! The key is to have a little bit of uniqueness to your sign to draw people in. Don't be afraid to make it different, it doesn't always have to be a white sign with plain black font! Something eye catching will bring in the customers, buyers or whatever else you are looking for.
