Protect Your Business with General Liability Insurance

Business General Liability Insurance is ridiculously important to businesses of all sizes and types. A business that runs without insurance is just asking for a lawsuit. Insurance on your company or small business protects you from wrongful blame. It also keeps you from paying excessive damages for accidents that may have "involved" your product or service.

Business insurance keeps you and your company from taking the blame for accidents that are not your fault. When consumers get hurt, they often want to find someone else to put the blame on. If you were providing a service to someone and they fell while you were doing so, many would be able to find some clever way to blame it on you. Similarly, if a client was using your product and was injured, whether by your product or not, it's not uncommon for some consumers to try to sue you because all they're seeing in the situation is money signs! This is bad for your wallet and your reputation. This is even worse if you specialize in a part of a whole, for example, the tires on a car, the screen of a computer, etc. If the whole thing breaks, it's easy for them to blame it on your repair job. With business insurance, you're protected from these situations. If you do happen to incur some kind of lawsuit, your personal assets are protected. You also have some defense against the case if you're ensured to take no liability for accidents, even if they may be your "fault".

Business insurance also does the important job of protecting your pocket. If you did get into some kind of lawsuit and lost, you're looking at a ton of expenses. Depending on the size and organization of your company, this can destroy your company and even bankrupt you. If you don't own a corporation, you're legally responsible for dealing with your company and will be directly hit with any monies owed to the winning side. Business insurance not only protects your company from failure and bankruptcy, but you as well.

Too often owners try to skimp on things within a business. Insurance is one thing you must never skimp on. Not insuring your business can be the difference in success and failure, riches or bankruptcy. Business insurance protects you from unfair and blame and also protects you from paying money you don't really owe. Don't be stupid, insure your business.
